💙 April - Autism Awareness Month 💙

This month shouldn’t just be about wearing blue and sharing posts.

Because right now, for many autistic individuals and their families, the conversation isn’t about awareness — it’s about access.

Access to supports.
Access to understanding.
Access to a system that doesn’t question their needs at every turn.

Autism isn’t a trend.
It isn’t something people “grow out of.”
And it shouldn’t be something that is quietly deprioritised to meet targets.

If we want to talk about awareness, let’s talk about what actually matters:
Listening to autistic voices.
Respecting functional needs.
And ensuring supports remain in place.
Be an ally.

Because awareness without action doesn’t protect anyone.

We see you, we hear, we support you.
Not just back then, but into the future as well 💙🦋
