on NSW have worked hard to achieve recognition by Equestrian Australia (NSW) to become affiliated so that the sport can become accessible and manageable for international representation in the future. The purpose of WE NSW is form a compliant system that allows the members of all the associations in NSW that join this NSW branch to have ALL its members vote for the committee of the association. The constitution requires that the members of the clubs are able to contribute to the appointment of the committee. WE NSW has some drafted by laws that are designed to ensure that the committee is not able to be made up of only people that have been issued with accrediatations or other conflicts of interest that could otherwise allow a monopoly of people with an agenda that is not in the best interest of the sport. When WE NSW has at least 3 clubs affiliated to the NSW branch then an AGM will be announced and the proper forms for expression of interest will be issued to all NSW members for the opportunity to nominate committee for the NSW branch. Soon after this those people who have been nominated will be asked to supply references and CV for all members to vote. In general the process is a replica of the EA NSW system that has been proven over many years to be transparent and fair to all concerned.
