Tooba comprises of a group of dedicated community members whose focus is to create opportunities, support and services for Muslim families throughout the Western Suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria. We are a not for profit group who pride ourselves with not being affiliated with any specific political/social group. We are here to focus on and advocate for the needs of the Muslim Community from newborns
to the elderly. Which include health, educational, social and spiritual support. Our aim is to link the community up with any pre existing organisations who may be of benefit. To date our initiatives have been:
*Running a playgroup since 2012 in Hoppers Crossing, Western Suburbs providing support for mothers and children.
*Organising annual pre ramadan family fun days to encourage community togetherness while also raising funds for Muslims around the world.
*Running end of term fundraisers to encourage children to help those in need.
*Organising meal drives for new families or for those in need of a helping hand.
*Organising women only swimming days. Our upcoming events for Dec 2015/Jan 2016 are:
*2 day 1 night family camp for Muslim families
*a school holiday program for Muslim children and youth.
* Fortnightly Youth Group
* Active Family adventure day
*Active Youth Adventure day
