🚛🇦🇺 BINGARA, ARE YOU READY? 🇦🇺🚛

The Aussie Hay Runners are heading your way this King's Birthday Long Weekend with a 60 + truck convoy & our famous , and we'd love to see the community come out and show their support!

As our convoy rolls into town, give us a wave, cheer us on, and help us spread a little country spirit. Every smile and friendly face along the route means the world to our volunteers and the farming families we're supporting.

📍 We'll be stopping at the Bingara Showgrounds, so come down, say hello, check out the trucks, and show your support for this incredible cause.

Let's make Bingara a town to remember and give our convoy a warm country welcome! Bring the family, bring your mates, and let's line the streets with plenty of waves and community spirit.

We can't wait to see you all! 😍

If you’re a small business looking to be seen — this is where it happens 👇

The East Regional View is proudly local, independently owned, and completely free to the reader. That means your business isn’t hidden behind a paywall… it’s landing directly in the hands of locals, right across our region.

You’ve probably seen us — the blue and yellow paper sitting in cafés, supermarkets, service centres and local shops from Moe to Lakes Entrance. We’re easy to spot… and even easier to pick up.

And that’s the difference.

We’re a small business, just like you. We understand the hustle, the long hours, and the importance of getting your name out there. That’s why everything we do is built around supporting other local businesses.

But just as importantly — we tell the kind of stories people actually want to read.

Our pages are filled with positive stories, real wins, and success stories about people in your own community. The locals you know. The businesses you see every day. The moments that make you proud to live here.

So when your business appears in the East Regional View, it’s sitting alongside content that people feel good about — content they actually spend time with.

When you advertise with us:
🟡 You’re seen by real locals
🔵 You’re part of a trusted, recognisable brand
🟡 You’re surrounded by positive, community-driven stories
🔵 You’re backed by a paper that genuinely cares about your success

This isn’t big media.
This is local people supporting local people.

Because at the end of the day — when one local business grows, we all grow.

📞 Ready to be part of it? Let’s have a chat.

🗞️ OUT NOW – YOUR LOCAL PAPER IS HERE!

The latest edition of the East Regional View is officially out now and hitting shelves right across our region 🙌

From Moe to Lakes Entrance, you’ll find your copy packed with the stories that matter — local voices, community wins, big issues, and everything in between.

This is the blue and yellow paper locals are picking up, talking about, and trusting every fortnight 💙💛

Best of all?
It’s completely FREE.

So next time you’re out and about, grab a copy, have a read, and see why more and more locals are calling it their local paper.

🎄 A Huge Festive Community Shout-Out to 101-Year-Old Aileen Graham 🎄

From all of us at the East Regional View, it was an absolute privilege to spend time yesterday with Aileen Graham, who at 101 years young continues to light up a room with her warmth, humour and incredible story.

Aileen’s late husband Arch Graham was the man who started the Traralgon Lions Club Inc Senior Citizens Lunches back in 1976 — the very tradition we all came together to celebrate yesterday. Meeting Aileen and hearing her reflections was something truly special.

She’s witnessed more change in our community than most of us could imagine, but her spirit remains as bright as ever. With a smile she told me, “All the young ones get to party, so why shouldn’t us older ones too?” — and honestly, she couldn’t be more right.

So from the entire ERV team — and our whole community — let’s all wish Aileen a very Merry Christmas, and may there be many more parties, laughter and celebrations still to come. ❤️
