Our partnership with Leongatha Secondary College and Gippsland Southern Health Service has been named a finalist in the 2026 Tidy Towns & Cities – Sustainability Awards in both the Young Legend and Behaviour Change & Education categories.

The project gave VM students the opportunity to work alongside community partners to transform the maternity garden at Gippsland Southern Health Service creating something meaningful for the community while building confidence, skills and a sense of connection for the young people involved.

It’s been fantastic to see what can happen when young people are given the opportunity to contribute, lead and make a difference in their own community.

We’re very proud of the students and everyone involved in bringing this project to life. 💚
