Cleaning out coastline ♻️
& having fun whilst doing it 🗑

Thank you to all the volunteers that came out today and removed Marine Debris from Norris Bay.

Today was about quality not quantity! We found a discarded anchor and 4m of chain, an umbrella and lots of Microplastics mixed with various bottles and more! 🪸

The volunteers were gifted with dugongs on the way to the site, whales in the distance and dolphins on the way home. Truly special! 🐬 🌊

Thank you to Aquascene for having us on board and helping with the clean up activities.

All marine debris will be logged on the AMDI database (Australian Marine Debris Initiative) and all waste will be recycled, reused where possible.
