✨Hey everyone - just wanting to address our reasoning for why we don’t reserve kittens ✨
We receive countless messages about specific kittens — and our fluffy babies, in particular, seem to attract a lot of attention! 🥹❤️
We completely understand falling in love with a kitten from a photo. They’re adorable, and it’s natural to have your heart set on one. But there are a couple of important reasons why we don’t simply reserve kittens for the first person who messages us.
Firstly, we have to keep the adoption process fair. We often receive multiple enquiries about the same kitten, including kittens like Colin, Francesca and George. It wouldn’t be fair to the other families who have also expressed interest to simply allocate a kitten based on who messaged first.
But more importantly, we strongly believe in meeting your potential new family member in person. ❤️
A photo can show you how gorgeous a kitten is, but it can’t show you their personality, their quirks, or that special connection you feel when you meet them.
We’ve seen so many people arrive at adoption days with their heart set on one particular kitten, only to meet another kitten and realise that was their perfect match. 🥹
Sometimes the kitten you thought you wanted isn’t the kitten you connect with — and sometimes the one you hadn’t considered at all ends up stealing your heart.
We also want to be able to keep sharing photos and updates of our beautiful babies with you! 📸🐱
We love showing you their little personalities, watching them grow and giving everyone a chance to follow their rescue journeys. We would genuinely hate to reach a point where we had to stop sharing photos of individual kittens simply because we were receiving so many requests to reserve them.
So please understand that seeing a kitten’s photo does not mean they can be reserved or claimed through messages. Instead, we encourage you to come along to an adoption day and meet the kittens in person.
Our goal isn’t simply to find homes for kittens. It’s to find the right forever home for each kitten. 🏡💕
Come with an open mind, an open heart — and let the kittens choose you too. 🐾
Because the best matches aren’t always made from a photograph.
