Thank you to all 85 parkrunners that helped us celebrate our 13th birthday (and Caulfield cup) today.
It certainly must have been the weather for it…there was a huge 23PBs and 12 first timers.
Welcome to our visitors from near and far! Safe travels wherever your barcode takes you.
Also I would like to thank Townsville Roadrunners for visiting us, we love having you.
A big thanks to our volunteers Kathryn, Trevor, Karen, Zsofia & Richard.
Without our volunteers, we certainly wouldn’t have been able to reach 13. Volunteers are the heart of parkrun!
Also thank you to Michael & Kathryn for the photos.
Hopefully everyone had some yummy cake to celebrate.
Please come again next week and have some more fun! There is no better way to start a Saturday!

A huge thank you to everyone that visited us today to celebrate not just our 13th birthday but also to celebrate our annual ‘Caulfield Cup’ that honours Bill Caulfield, our past Run Director, Super coach, amazing runner and all round nice guy.
The trophy was won (on best age grade) by William Harding with a cracking time of 17:24 and an age grading of 81.51. A huge Congratulations. Well deserved.

We will be officially a teenager this Saturday.
But we will also be celebrating with our annual ‘Caulfield Cup’ in honour of super coach and one of our past Run Directors, Bill Caulfield.
Please wear your favourite shade of blue or North Melbourne gear.
Who will get their name on the trophy this year????

Who will be the next person to get their name on the annual ‘Caulfield Cup’?
This trophy is to honour Bill, aka Super Coach and past Northshore parkrun RD.
It’s based on age-grading to make it fair for everyone to have a go at getting their name on the annual trophy.
Please come dressed in your finest blue or North Melbourne gear as Bill was a huge North Melbourne supporter who was rarely seen without his N.M cap on. We will also be celebrating our 13th birthday as well so what better excuse to come along, have some fun and possibly eat cake!
