A KEY MOMENT IN OUR HISTORY
For over 50 years, TRCOTA has supported and advocated for seniors in our community. At this year’s AGM , alongside standard annual reporting, members will consider vital formal motions regarding the future operations and potential formal closure of our charity.

We strongly recommend that all past and present members and community supporters to attend this pivotal meeting. Member attendance is crucial to fulfil constitutional requirements and establish a formal quorum.

We’re hearing more stories from older persons who are being dismissed, blamed or treated harshly by their adult children — even when they’re providing constant emotional and practical support. This quieter form of elder abuse is becoming more common, and many women feel they can’t talk about it. As we prepare for WEAAD, we want to shine a light on these experiences and remind our community that respect, empathy, and connection matter at every age.
