FREE SLUSHIE FRIDAYS IN CLONCURRY!

Looking for a refreshing way to wrap up the week? Come along to the Cloncurry Neighbourhood Centre for free slushies every Friday afternoon throughout November! 💙

Each year, Centacare NQ team members Vicki and Ellen Laya take part in the Into the Shadows Walk to raise funds for Lifeline and support su***de prevention.

For Vicki, the cause is deeply personal. She has lost her son Izac, nephew Reginald and stepsister Bronwyn to su***de.

“I know first hand the impact that someone choosing death over life can have.”

Vicki continues their legacy through fundraising and su***de prevention work with the Mount Isa Su***de Prevention Network and Mount Isa Mental Health Network.

ASIST is suitable for anyone who wants to develop their understanding and skills around su***de prevention, including community workers, health professionals, educators, workplaces, volunteers and community members.
