📣 We’re Seeking Bulk Items From Hotel, Motel, School & Office Refreshes!
The Townsville Repair Café – Northern Beaches is looking for easy-to-repair, easy-to-upcycle items that businesses often replace during renovations or refresh cycles — even when they’re still in great condition.
If your hotel, motel, school, office or workplace is upgrading, we’d love to give your surplus items a new life and keep them out of landfill. ♻️
Our Main Items to Start With
1️⃣ Small Appliances (non-high voltage)
These are often “like new” but replaced in bulk during room upgrades.
Examples: kettles, toasters, desk lamps, pedestal fans, air purifiers, clock radios, stick vacuums.

2️⃣ Small Electronics
Perfect for simple fixes, cleaning, and part-out projects.
Examples: alarm clocks, radios, portable speakers, remotes, routers, Cisco phones, intercom handsets.

5️⃣ Lamps & Light Decor
Hotels refresh these very frequently.
Examples: bedside lamps, desk lamps, standing lamps, lamp bases, decorative lighting fixtures.

6️⃣ Hand Tools & Garden Tools
Often found in school/office maintenance shed clean-outs.
Examples: secateurs, shears, chisels, small garden tools (great for sharpening + resale/donation).

Other Items (Optional / Later)
• Light Furniture: chairs, stools, small tables, bedside tables, shelving, office chairs, lobby furniture.
• Clothing & Textiles: uniforms, curtains, cushion covers, linen, blankets.
• Part-Out Items: Cisco phones, printers, vacuums, laptops — great for volunteers learning repair skills.
If your renovation or refresh is producing any of these items — especially bulk lots — we’d love to take them, repair them, and keep them circulating locally.
