We run projects to assist developing communities and promote health equity through education, advocacy, and outreach. SANTE is James Cook University's student-run, global health group. Established in 2006 by a former JCU medical student, Dr Riley Savage, we represent JCU's arm of AMSA's Crossing Borders, Code Green, International, Healthy Communities, Global Health and Sexual and Reproductive Heal
th teams. SANTE is French for health, and stands for Supporting All Nations Towards Equality. Over the years, SANTE has been delivering aid to various developing communities through our projects, including fundraisers, donation drives and social and academic events. We have also been committed to deliver education to Australian students and the general public on issues pertaining to international health, foreign aid, development and global poverty.
