Puppy Yoga for a Pawsome Cause!

🧘Stretch, smile, and snuggle with adorable rescue pups at World Gym Townsville, Puppy Yoga Fundraiser, all in support of Angel-Paws Dog and Cat Rescue!

💜 Join us for a feel-good session that combines gentle yoga with playful puppy cuddles, with all proceeds going toward helping animals in need.

Meet Optimus 🐾

Hi, I’m Optimus.

I know I probably look like every other Staffy cross searching for a forever home… but before you scroll past, remember the saying, “Don’t judge a book by its cover.” That’s me!

I’m a well-mannered girl with so much to offer. I’m toilet trained, love hopping in the car for adventures, enjoy long walks where I can stop and sniff all the interesting smells, and I’m just as happy spending a lazy day curled up on the couch watching TV with my people.

I love meeting new people and have a calm, patient nature. If you stop to chat with someone on a walk, I’m happy to wait by your side. I walk well on the lead, know my basic training, and will happily sit on command. One of my favourite things? Sitting on your feet while you relax—I just like being close to my humans.

I think the world is a pretty amazing place! Whether it’s exploring the beach, playing with toys, soaking up the sunshine, wandering around the garden, or finding the perfect cosy spot for a nap, I’m always ready to enjoy life with my family.

I would do best as the only dog in the home so I can have all your love and attention. The good news is, I’m cat friendly, making me a great companion for the right household.

If you’re looking for a loyal best friend who will be by your side through every adventure—and every movie night—I might just be the perfect match.

There’s quite a bit of Maui to love! Weighing in at a very impressive 5.3kg, this handsome boy is proof that sometimes more really is more! ❤️

Maui has absolutely stunning colouring and a personality to match. He can be a bit of a Houdini, so you’ll need to make sure those screen doors are firmly shut — this clever boy knows how to make an escape!

Double the Tortie, Double the Love!
Meet Autumn and Nutmeg, two beautiful tortoiseshell girls who found themselves in a spot of bother at the local pound. Thankfully, Angel - Paws was able to step in and give them a second chance at the happy future they deserve.
These lovely ladies have now completed all of their veterinary work and are ready to start the next chapter of their lives with a family to call their own. Better yet, they're looking for their last home, where they can settle in and be cherished forever.
Autumn and Nutmeg are friendly, affectionate cats who enjoy human company and are happy in the company of other cats. They have not yet been tested with dogs, so any introductions would need to be done carefully and gradually.
