Tanya is a mother to 3 young boys, a Postpartum Care Provider, Women's Health Yoga Teacher and certified Sacred Mama Circles facilitator, supporting mothers with loving presence, wisdom & care to thrive during their motherhood continuum. She has a background as a registered nurse and her life path has somehow always been about integrative health and wellness. Since becoming a mother, her passion is all things sovereign maternal wellness encompassing all facets of mind, body and spirit.

I’m Tanya.

A mother, registered nurse, maternal wellness practitioner, and the woman behind Mother Helping, The Nourishing Hour, and Ceremonies here

At the heart of my work is a simple belief:

When mothers are supported and well, families thrive.

I nourish mothers in practical and ceremonial ways.

While my work began in the postpartum space, it has naturally evolved into supporting mothers throughout the continuum of motherhood.

Most days you’ll find me supporting families in the ordinary, unseen parts of life — preparing nourishing food, folding laundry, changing bed linen, helping reset homes, holding space for mothers, and creating nourishing rituals through life’s transitions.

I’m equal parts practical support and heartfelt care.

What I know to be true is that mothers do not need to be told to do more.

We are living in a time where many mothers are carrying an enormous mental, emotional, and practical load while trying to care for everyone around them. I know this not only through my work, but through my own experience of motherhood.

Mothers need support.

They need breathing room.

They need someone to walk alongside them.

The mothers I work with often tell me that what I offer isn’t simply help around the home. It’s a sense of calm, a weight lifted from their shoulders, and a reminder that they don’t have to carry everything alone.

And truthfully, that’s what I hope every mother feels:

✨ A little lighter.
✨ A little more nourished.
✨ A little more supported.

I’m also someone who disappears from social media from time to time 🙋‍♀️

As a 2/4 profile in Human Design, and a Leo who seems to move between introvert and extrovert depending on the season, I’m learning to trust my natural rhythm of sharing and retreating. I’m passionate about what I do and still learning how to honour my own energy as I juggle motherhood, family life, work, and all the beautifully messy parts of being human.

Happy Mother’s Day 🤍✨

Today, celebrating mothers.
The ones holding families together in thousands of unseen ways.
The ones carrying the mental load, the emotional labour, the snacks, the schedules, the cuddles, the sleepless nights, the worry, the love.

The work of mothers is some of the greatest and most important work there is.

Mothering asks so much of us, and no two journeys look the same. Each mother carries her own joys, struggles, complexities, and seasons.

Acknowledging the single mothers, the mothers doing it without the village they deserve, and the mothers who may not receive the appreciation or recognition they deeply deserve within their own homes.

Supporting mothers is truly one of my greatest joys because I deeply believe that when mothers are well, families are well — and therefore communities are well.

And I’m so deeply grateful for the mothers and women in my own life who support me through the ups, downs, hard moments, and beauty of motherhood too.

May today be a deep remembering that you matter so much. ✨

✅ I bring homemade chicken stock, ghee, and specialty spices

✅ Then I step into your kitchen and cook for you with care.
