We are a small group of wildlife carers able to provide orphaned Joeys with immediate care with the end goal being release back to natural habitat once able. We also are available to educate groups like day cares, kindergarten, schools, and various clubs to educate the next generation of Aussies.

🐊 Wildlife Fact Wednesday: Saltwater Crocodile

This week we’re spotlighting one of Australia’s most powerful native animals — the Saltwater Crocodile.

Saltwater crocodiles play an important role in keeping ecosystems balanced, but they should always be admired from a safe distance.

If you’re in crocodile country, always obey warning signs, stay well back from the water’s edge and never feed wildlife.

Respect their space. Protect wildlife. 💚

📞 What happens after you call WRAPT?

When someone contacts WRAPT about injured, orphaned or sick native wildlife, the goal is to get that animal the right help as quickly and safely as possible.

From the first call, we can provide advice, help guide the next steps, and organise rescue or transport if needed. From there, wildlife can receive the care and rehabilitation needed for the best chance of recovery.

If you find wildlife in need:
• Keep them warm, dark and quiet
• Don’t offer food or water
• Contact a wildlife organisation or take them to the closest vet

Every rescue starts with someone taking action. Thank you for helping protect our local wildlife. 💚
