🚶 𝗛𝗲𝘆 𝗠𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁 𝗟𝗼𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗮 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 - 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝘂𝗽!

Our crews will be out maintaining the creek line alongside the walking track, from Chapple Street through to Bayswater Road (both sides). These works focus on clearing invasive weeds to help improve waterways, habitat and water quality 🌿

Works kick off 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟱 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 and will continue over the next couple of weeks (weather permitting), moving along the track as we go.

🚧 As part of this, there will be 𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 on:
• Thursday 18 June 2026
• Friday 19 June 2026
• Monday 22 June 2026

That’s always a good sign — when steps are still holding up beautifully after years of heavy foot traffic, it says a lot about the install quality and the steps themselves. The products supplied by Edenstone Masonry NQ really do age well when they’re laid properly.

Well done to Townsville City Council and the suppliers involved — quality materials and workmanship clearly stand the test of time.

Love seeing groups come together to enjoy the Mount Louisa Walking Track 👏🥾

This throwback to the Heart Foundation Walking group is a great reminder that walking is one of the best ways to stay active, connect with others and enjoy our beautiful local scenery.
