The Apiary has had a four swarms this spring, caught three but one got away 30feet into a Gumtree. All have happy healthy Queens 👸 🐝 and I will be checking in on them in a few weeks time, let's hope to find some mated new queens 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝

Sometimes the girls make a bad decision and swarm before a huge storm and the strongest wind's all year and you have to go save them. All in a day's work for a Beekeeper, catching a Swarm in wet and windy conditions is the hardest thing possible and if you win it's a pretty awesome feeling 🐝🐝🐝🐝🥰🐝🐝🐝🐝

The girls are getting busy here at the Apiary loaded with pollen from various sources, the Wattles are out and I've seen a few of our coastal Melaleuca starting to blossom 🌺 🐝🐝🐝

Two banging colonies available, Both Queens are great layers with full frames of brood and very calm bee's. Seem very prolific and will absolutely go off this spring. Both are Swarms caught locally and both are very healthy Colonies. Come in a new full size brood box painted in Dulux Dandelion weathershield. Call 0474 884 549 to discuss, Inspections welcome but the weather has to be good.

We've had a few hot days in the Apiary this week, the girl's have been searching for moisture everywhere but are thriving and in great numbers with local Iron bark and flowering gum in full blossom 🐝🐝
