In May, three Torquay members gained their RWC Operator Certificate across two big weekends at Waratah Beach and Inverloch.

The RWC service is critical in keeping our beaches safe over summer. It is often regarded as the hardest lifesaving qualification to earn, as it requires nearly every other lifesaving award.

A huge congratulations to Daniel, Jack and Kai on this fantastic achievement! This brings our total number of RWC operators to six. Their skills will help keep beaches safe across the region all season long

We recently came together for our annual awards and celebration night. A night to celebrate the 2025/26 season and the incredible achievements of our members on and off the beach. This Friday at The Deck Bar 🍻

We’re open from 4.30pm as usual — but this week we’re also bringing some iconic surf cinema to the club 🎥🏄‍♂️

To celebrate the release of Jack Johnson’s new film SURFILMUSIC, we’ll be screening Thicker Than Water and The September Sessions (remastered in 4K) from 5pm — both in the Deck Bar and on the projector in the Main Hall.

Bring your own platter or grab takeaway from one of our fantastic local eateries and settle in for a cruisy Friday night by the coast 🤙🏼
