🪴September at Hoop Gallery

A month of exhibitions, community, and creative exchange at Hoop Gallery.

Join us for the opening of Linda Judge's "Felled Elm" on Thursday the 3rd of September, followed by the Saving Spring Creek Valley art exhibition and film screening on Friday the 4th of September. Throughout the month, explore Life Drawing, Tutored Drawing Sessions, and our Artist Shared Practice Masterclass with Virginia Aldred.

The Geelong Secondary Art Teacher Exhibition is not one to be missed. Pop on down to the gallery today to say hello. Open 10-4pm. We also have a Voice and Vision next weekend a chance to hear about how this group of teachers and students got together. Finally a huge thanks to Leah Grant for creating this fabulous video 🙌 Leah also has some super cute ceramics in the exhibition.

What an incredible evening! A huge congratulations to the artists taking part in the Geelong Secondary Art Teachers Network Exhibition. A great turnout to celebrate. Our latest exhibition, Geelong Secondary Art Teacher Network, opens today at 11am!

Featuring the work of 24 teachers and students from across the region, this vibrant exhibition celebrates creativity across a diverse range of mediums, including painting, ceramics, video, photography, and sculpture. With such a broad collection on display, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

🗓 Exhibition Dates: 6 August – 30 August

🎉 Official Opening Launch
Join us on Friday 7 August, 6–8pm to celebrate the exhibition, meet the artists, and enjoy an evening of art and community.
