Thank you to District Governor Mark Williams for making the trip up the range to present certificates to our Charter President Jason Hudson, and for representatives of the Toowoomba Clubs for coming and supporting us. A quiet beer after a long day hosting the BBQ at Toowoomba North Bunnings.
Club members pitched in to raise funds for men's mental health.
Unfortunately a fierce storm passed through and we were stuck at the pub for another beer or 2. 😏

All done!
Toowoomba Range Rotary Club completed 3 separate trips our to Isisford and Quilpie over the past few months. The mission was to retrieve vehicles and trailers for BlazeAid and return them back to base. The BlazeAid army have been out repairing fences after the flood damaged 100s of kilometres of fence line earlier this year.

The club spent a few hours this morning cleaning up a yard after recent storms. Many hands make light (??) work of the task and we get our steps up for the day.

Our inaugural Bunning BBQ extravaganza has come to a close, and we're thrilled with the outcome. Members stepped away from their usual Friday routines to advocate for men's mental health and generated significant funds. The day's earnings were better than predicted. If you're interested in learning more about our community-focused club, please contact us. As Australia's youngest Rotary Club, with an average age of 50, we're dedicated to making a positive impact in our local and international communities.

Helping out on the way home

While enjoying a well-earned holiday out west with their wives, two of our members made time to lend a hand to Blaze Aid on the drive back to Toowoomba. They collected a Blaze Aid ute and trailer that had been stuck out in Quilpie and brought it home for redeployment.

BlazeAid supports rural communities rebuilding after natural disasters, and sometimes the simple task of moving gear is one of the most helpful things you can do.

This kind of service doesn’t take a committee or a roster, just a willingness to say yes when a need arises. We are proud to have people like this in our club.

If you’re a like-minded local who wants to be part of a club that gets things done without taking itself too seriously, come have a chat with us at Toowoomba North Bunnings this Friday October 31st.
