Today we have a thank you and a favour to ask.

To everyone who has and continues to donate their gently loved clothing and accessories, thank you.

Every piece is personally sorted, taken home, laundered, and brought back into the space ready for its next chapter. Your generosity makes so much of what we do possible.

And now for the favour. Timber coat hangers. We need them.

If you are refreshing your wardrobe, having a clear out, or swapping to slimline hangers to make more space, please think of us before you let them go.

They are such a simple thing but they make a real difference to how our space looks and feels for the women who walk through our doors.

Something came up in a styling session yesterday that we think a lot of you will relate to.

A simple button-down shirt dress. Owned by so many women.

It is one of those pieces that sits in the wardrobe that with the right styling it can be so much more than one look.

So next week we are showing you exactly how. A series of reels dedicated entirely to this navy blue shirt dress and all the different ways you can wear it to make it feel like a brand new piece every time.

Dressing with intent is not about spending money, following trends or looking perfect.

It is about pausing for a moment and asking: how do I want to feel today?

On Friday, KindHer Threads had the privilege of being part of the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation's Pink Ladies Day at the Dalby Race Course, a significant event on their fundraising calendar raising vital funds for women’s health services in our region.

What began as a conversation about having a market stall evolved into something so much more, thanks to the generosity of CEO Jude Wills and her wonderful team Madeline, Grace, and Brighid.

We were given the opportunity to speak to those attending about the work we do at KindHer Threads, and to showcase some of the beautiful pieces from our space through a little fashion show on the day.

To be in that room, sharing the KindHer Threads story with an audience of women who were there to give back to their community, was a moment we will carry with us for a long time.

Thank you to the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation for welcoming us so warmly and for the incredible work you do for our region.

This is where you will find us today.

We are at the Dalby Race Course for the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation's Pink Ladies Day and what a gorgeous day it is shaping up to be.

We have a stall here today and I also have the privilege of speaking to those attending. We will also be doing a little mini runway featuring some beautiful pieces from our space, so if you are coming down today make sure you come and find us.

My partner in crime is here with me too, so between the two of us we are ready to welcome you, share what we do, and have a little fun along the way.

Today I had the opportunity to speak to the Rotary Club Toowoomba East chapter about the work we do at KindHer Threads and I left.

The room was full of men. And that is exactly the point.

The women we walk alongside are part of everyone's community.

They are the mothers, sisters, daughters, wives, and colleagues of the people in that room.

And the men sitting in the room today are community leaders, business owners, and decision makers who have the power to amplify what we do in ways that matter.

Raising awareness beyond our immediate audience is one of the most important things we can do as a self-funded charity. Today was a reminder of that.

Thank you to the Rotary Club Toowoomba East for the warm welcome and for giving us the floor to share our story. We are so grateful.
