What a wonderful morning celebrating the 2026 SPRED Appeal Launch yesterday!
We gathered with community leaders, supporters, volunteers, and participants to launch the appeal and also continue the celebration of 40 years of SPRED being a ministry of friendship, faith, and belonging.
Hearing from our incredible ambassadors Thomas and Kate was a powerful reminder of the positive impact SPRED has on our Friends and Volunteers.
A big thank you to everyone who attended, supported, and continues to walk alongside the SPRED community. Your generosity helps ensure this vital ministry continues to grow and thrive.

On Sunday 22 March, it was a privilege to mark 40 years of the SPRED ministry in our diocese. Some 140 plus Friends, volunteers and supporters gathered at St Theresa’s Toowoomba from near and far to mark the milestone, celebrate and catch up. A beautiful celebration of God’s love for all and journeying together in vibrant faith!
