Come and join NPQ Toowoomba for our Carnival of Flowers event. We will be at the East Toowoomba State School Assembly Hall on Arthur St. East Toowoomba on the 19th,20th and 21st of Sept. We will have Native floral displays and plant sales. There will also be books for sale including Mangroves to Mountains and a selection of books by The Condamine Catchment Group on the native plants local to the Toowoomba area.
The Lions Club will be catering on site also. So come along for a look at our displays and learn about our magnificent local and non-local native plants.
We will be joined on site by the Clivia group and the East State School's Hanging Basket Comp.
Starts at 9:00am
Admission is $2. which goes to the school.

The growing of Australian Native Plants not only gives you the joy of colourful flowers but also brings colourful visitors to your garden. A flowering Senna gaudichaudii attracted these 3 native bees. These photos were taken within 20 minutes of each other. The first bee is a Blue Spotted Cloak and Dagger, then a Blue Banded followed by a Green and Gold Nomia.
