Darling Downs Textile Art Group

Darling Downs Textile Art Group We are textile artists living and working in South East Queensland. We are open during exhibitions and events or by appointment.

Our common thread is a love of textiles and the many techniques used to shape and embellish it. Established in 1999, DDTag is a gathering of emerging and established textile artists. Individual artists may have started their textile journey in patchwork, embroidery, dressmaking, bookbinding or other art media. DDTag is dedicated to expanding their textile and fibre arts practices. We explore co

ntemporary textile expression by experimenting workshopping, and exhibiting. We showcase our art in galleries and other public venues. Follow us to get news about our latest events. To learn more about our group, follow us on Facebook or Instagram. There will be opportunity to meet our members and see our work at any of our advertised events. We look forward to meeting other textile artists and hearing about their work. If you are interested in inquiring about the group, please send us a msg. Appointment of a new member is by consensus of the DDATG members. https://www.facebook.com/DarlingDownsTextileArtGroup
