Supporting our staff, our patients and their families

The Toowoomba Hospital Foundation supports the community by funding life-saving equipment and resources to assist our health service.

Founded in 1989 we have come a long way from just a voluntary in-house committee to one of the region's most recognised and supported charities.

Since that humble beginning when we barely had enough funds to get off the ground, to the first employed staff in 1993, we have provided millions in funding and donations to the Toowoomba Hospital, Baillie Henderson Hospital, Mt Lofty Heights Nursing Home and local health services across the 22 hospitals in the Darling Downs Health region in equipment, staff development, research and scholarships.

Our fundraising and community events keep us well connected with our incredibly generous local community, the corporate sector and service clubs, while our commercial enterprises enable us to self-fund our operating costs.
