Flourish PYO

Flourish PYO Our current focus is on growing fresh, free vegetables, herbs and flowers for our community, deliver

The concept of Flourish PYO was started by a group of mums who are passionate about healthy eating and share a heart for making a difference in our community by relieving suffering, supporting those who are struggling and removing some of the barriers that prevent people from improving their own health. We have established a free open-access community garden for everyone to enjoy fresh produce, pr

ovide engaging gardening and nutrition sessions to day cares, schools and community groups and are passionate about seeing our community thrive in the holistic sense of health.

2019 these three beautiful ladies from Flourish, would come to school to help us teach healthy food options to the lower grades.
What fun! 🥳

Learning through interactive fun is a super way for children to understand important messages.
Thanks ladies, what fun we had🥳

We have some plants at Flourish that people can come and take before the garden is removed. A member of our team will be at the garden from 9-11am on Tuesdays for the next 3 weeks for people to come and pick up plants.

Note: All plants are free but pick up is only available on Tuesday mornings when a team member is present, and all plants need to be collected by the 10th June.

Available plants include:
1) Strawberry plants
2) Daffodil bulbs
3) Rhubarb
4) Ginger
5) Jerusalem artichokes
6) Lemongrass
7) Asparagus crowns
8) Pinapple sage.

We are sad to announce that Flourish PYO will be closing in 2025.
Unfortunately, because of low numbers of volunteers and committee members over several years, we have had to make the difficult decision to close Flourish PYO.
We are so thankful for everyone who has contributed to and supported Flourish over the years
We will continue to update as more details become available about this process and the plans for the existing gardens are determined.
