BUSHKIDS AND THE BRONCOS

It was great to meet up with the Brisbane Broncos' Community Engagement Executive, Brigid Castles, at today’s Season Premiere launch event.

We were able to discuss with Brigid the exciting plans for our fundraiser on March 12, which will include bringing kids from rural and remote areas to the game with the Paramatta Eels.

It was great to be able to meet up with Dr Christian Rowan MP today. He is a great supporter of our organisation and the work we do in regional and remote Queensland. Thank you Dr Rowan for your time and continued support.

A valuable discussion with the team from BUSHkids, reflecting on their incredible impact across Queensland and the vital support they continue to provide to children, families and communities.

Great to hear from Carlton Meyn, CEO, and Susan Harrison, Director of Clinical Services and Strategy, as they presented the BUSHkids Annual Report and marked 90 years of dedicated service, alongside an overview of their model of care and the real difference it is making across Queensland communities.

Also exciting to learn more about their new charity partnership with the Brisbane Broncos for the 2026 season, creating even more opportunities to support Queensland families into the future.

BUSHKIDS NOMINATED AS A CHARITY PARNER FOR BRISBANE BRONCOS

We are delighted to announce that BUSHkids has been nominated as a Brisbane Broncos charity partner for the upcoming season. As part of this exciting new partnership, BUSHkids will be the beneficiary of the NRL 50-50 Charity Raffle at the Thursday night game at Suncorp Stadium on March 12 against the Parramatta Eels.

The NRL 50-50 Raffle is a charity fundraising initiative held at rugby league games across the country with 50% of the total funds raised going to one lucky winner with the remaining money donated to a nominated charity (30%) and rest going to the home club’s charities fund.

Our sincere thanks go to the Brisbane Broncos for supporting us as a charity partner.
