📣Our brigade needs your help

Over the past 5 years our brigade numbers have been dwindling. Our older members are moving on, some members have moved towns, and we do not have the young generation coming through.

In all honesty there will be a time that the brigade will not attend an event due to lack of volunteers. We do not have a crystal ball, but it is worrying if our brigade will be operational in 10 yrs time.

We are seeking expressions of interest of new volunteers to come join our small country brigade. Males, females, anyone 16 yrs older can join.

Feel free to message or pop into our get Fire Ready Event Sunday 18th October to have a chat.

📢One of our vendors for our Get Fire Ready Event that unfortunately could not attend is Primeline Group. They have kindly provided us some information on residential fire sprinkler systems.

They also offer automated and remote-start options.

🔴Embarr Argus Sensor System
🔴Davey Remote Start Pump: A popular option that allows you to operate the pump remotely. It also includes a heat sensor that can activate the system if you’re unable to connect via your phone.

They can provide more competitive pricing for group bookings—for example, if 10 homeowners in the same area choose to proceed together.

Limited installation availability remaining before summer, so anyone considering a system is encouraged to get in touch soon.

If you are interested pop down and we will pass on the information and contact details! Definitely something worth considering, as we live so close to the bushland.

She will be available to answer any of your farm/home insurance questions.

📣“As we head into the fire season I will be talking about fire safety from an insurance perspective; what you need to think about before a crisis happens, what your policy actually means for you and why taking 5 minutes to understand your policy matters.
