இரங்கல் செய்தி

தமிழ் திரைப்பட உலகில் கிராமிய வாழ்க்கையின் மண்வாசனையை உலக அரங்கில் கொண்டு சென்ற, எண்ணற்ற கலைஞர்களை அறிமுகப்படுத்தி தமிழ் சினிமாவிற்கு புதிய பரிமாணத்தை அளித்த பாரதிராஜா அவர்களின் மறைவு எங்களை ஆழ்ந்த துயரத்தில் ஆழ்த்தியுள்ளது.

“இயக்குனர் இமயம்” என போற்றப்பட்ட அவர், தனது படைப்புகள் மூலம் தமிழ் மண்ணின் பண்பாடு, மனித உணர்வுகள் மற்றும் கிராமிய வாழ்வியலை உலகம் முழுவதும் அறியச் செய்தார். அவரது கலைப்பங்களிப்பு என்றும் அழியாத நினைவாக நிலைத்திருக்கும்.

அன்னாரின் மறைவால் வாடும் குடும்பத்தினர், நண்பர்கள், திரையுலகினர் மற்றும் உலகெங்கும் உள்ள ரசிகர்களுக்கு தமிழ்க் கலை மற்றும் பண்பாட்டு கழகம் (TACA), சிட்னி சார்பில் எங்களின் ஆழ்ந்த இரங்கல்களைத் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறோம்.

அன்னாரின் ஆன்மா சாந்தியடைய இறைவனை பிரார்த்திக்கிறோம்.

TACA Condemns the Vandalism of the Thiruvalluvar Statue

The Tamil Arts and Culture Association (TACA) expresses its deep disappointment and concern over the vandalism of the Thiruvalluvar Statue at Civic Park, Pendle Hill.

Thiruvalluvar is a revered poet, philosopher, and cultural icon whose teachings on ethics, compassion, and human values continue to inspire people across generations and communities. Any act of vandalism against such a significant cultural symbol is both unfortunate and disrespectful.

TACA strongly condemns this act and feels saddened by the damage caused to a monument that represents the rich literary and cultural heritage of the Tamil community.

We urge the Cumberland City Council and relevant authorities to investigate this incident and take appropriate action. We also hope that the statue will be restored with the dignity and respect it deserves.

TACA remains committed to promoting harmony, mutual respect, and the preservation of cultural heritage for future generations.
