🏆 GRAND FINAL DAY! 🏆

Good luck to our Junior Panthers who take on the Tigers in the Grand Final today at 2.30pm!

We are incredibly proud of everything these kids have achieved this season. They have worked hard, supported each other and shown what it means to be a Panther. No matter what happens today, you should all be so proud of yourselves!

A massive thank you to Coach Adrian Curley for the countless hours, dedication and effort you have put into these kids throughout the season. Your commitment and encouragement have made such a difference.

Thank you also to Jordon Bovell for stepping up as Assistant Coach and being there for the team. Your support is truly appreciated!

And finally, a huge shout-out to the two amazing ladies behind the scenes who do so much week in and week out to make sure these kids can get out on the field. ❤️

🖤💛❤️ NAIDOC Round 2026 ❤️💛🖤

On Wednesday evening, our Panthers Juniors and their families came together for a special jumper presentation ahead of this weekend's NAIDOC Round.

The highlight of the evening was the unveiling of our NAIDOC jumper, proudly designed by our very own Mason Curley. Mason's artwork tells the story of a brave young panther who steps up to lead and care for his pack when they need him most. Along the way, he is guided by new friends, overcomes challenges, and discovers the strength that comes from courage, kindness, friendship and community. It is a powerful story that reflects the values we strive to uphold both on and off the field.

We would also like to extend a huge thank you to Waru for coming on board as our sponsor for this year's NAIDOC Round. Your support has helped make this special celebration possible.

As our Panthers Juniors take to the field today, we wish them the very best of luck. Play with pride, respect and determination, support your teammates, show great sportsmanship, and most importantly, enjoy the game. Win, lose or draw, represent your club and community with the same courage and spirit shown in Mason's story.

Mason’s artwork tells the story of a brave young panther leading and protecting his pack, with the support of friends along the journey. His design represents courage, unity, friendship and community — values that mean so much to our club.

🚨 SPECTATOR REMINDER FROM THE FNFL 🚨

As the season starts, we’d like to remind everyone of the importance of helping create a safe, positive and respectful environment at all junior and youth games.

To support our players, coaches, umpires and families, please remember:

🔹 No alcohol at junior or youth games
🔹 No smoking or va**ng within the facility
🔹 Stay in designated spectator areas
🔹 Show respect to players, coaches, official and other supporters
🔹 Follow all directions from club officials and staff

Let’s all do our part to ensure game day remains a fun and supportive experience for everyone involved — especially our young players.

The Panthers Football Club extends its heartfelt condolences to the Bundy family following the sudden passing of Troy Bundy.

Troy was a much-loved member of our Panthers community during his time supporting his son Callum. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Whether it was cheering from the sidelines or lending a hand, Troy’s genuine care for not only his own son but all of the Panthers boys left a lasting impact—both on and off the field.

The Panthers Football Club is thinking of Troy’s family and friends during this incredibly difficult time, and we hope they find comfort in the love and support of those around them.

Our thoughts are with his wife Simone, and their children Dion, Ebony, Callum and Bella as they navigate this heartbreaking loss.

As a mark of respect, our junior team will wear black armbands at their next game.

We would also like to warmly invite all past and present players, families, and supporters to attend the Junior game on Friday 1st May at 4:00pm, as we come together as a club to honour Troy’s memory and show our support for his family.

For those who wish to support the family, a QR code has been provided to donate directly to Simone during this time.

Club Statement – 2026 Senior Men’s Season

It is with a heavy heart that the Panthers Football Club advises we will not be nominating a team for the 2026 Senior Men’s competition.

This decision has not been made lightly. After extensive discussions, careful consideration, and every effort to find a way forward, it has become clear that we do not have the player numbers or support personnel required to field a viable team this season. With low pre-season attendance, a limited number of registered players, and gaps in key game day roles, the sustainability of a senior team in 2026 is simply not possible.

While this is incredibly disappointing our focus now turns to the future of our club. In 2026 we will be placing our full attention and energy into our juniors supporting, developing and creating the best possible environment for our young players to grow, enjoy the game and build a strong foundation for the Panthers moving forward.

We understand this news will be upsetting for many of our players, members and supporters. Please know that this decision was made with the long-term future of the club in mind.

We would like to sincerely thank our President and Coach Steve Nixon for his tireless efforts in trying to make this season happen. Snicko has gone above and beyond in exploring every possible avenue to keep a senior side on the field and we know how much the Panthers Football Club means to him.

While this is not the outcome we had hoped for we remain optimistic about what lies ahead. We look forward to regrouping, rebuilding, and returning stronger in 2027 with renewed energy, a strengthened club culture, and a clear pathway from juniors through to seniors.
