Still Looking for Our Next Committee!

With so many new families, babies, and mums in town, we thought it was worth one final call before making the difficult decision to close next month.

We are seeking a full Executive Committee, with all positions currently vacant. Without volunteers to fill these roles, we will unfortunately be unable to continue operating.

This is a great opportunity to support local families, build connections within our community, and help shape the future of our group. The biggest opportunity is making friends.

If you are interested in joining the committee or would like more information about any of the roles, please get in touch.
Please consider getting involved – even a small contribution can make a big difference.

📣 Nameless Playgroup Needs You! 📣

Our beautiful little playgroup is at a turning point — and we need your help to keep it going 💛

To continue running, an Executive Committee must be formed, and we have until July to make it happen. Without a committee in place, our playgroup won’t be able to continue.

This is our space for little ones to play, learn and grow — and for parents and carers to connect, support each other and build community. But it can only happen with people willing to step up.

We’re looking for parents, grandparents, carers and community members who can help fill committee roles. You don’t need experience — just a willingness to be involved and keep this special group together.

✨ Many hands make light work
✨ Fresh ideas are welcome
✨ Your involvement makes a difference

✨ Committee Roles Explained but not limited to✨

President
• Leads the committee and meetings
• Helps guide decisions
• Supports other committee members
• Makes sure the group is running smoothly

Vice President (VP)
• Supports the President
• Steps in when the President is unavailable
• Helps with coordination and planning

Treasurer
• Manages the money
• Keeps records of income and expenses
• Pays bills and handles reimbursements
• Provides simple financial reports to the committee

Secretary
• Organises meetings and takes minutes
• Keeps important documents and records
• Manages correspondence (emails, notices)
• Helps with communication to members

💛 None of these roles need special qualifications — just a willingness to help and work as part of a team

If you value this playgroup and want to see it continue, now is the time to get involved.

Today’s AGM was unsuccessful, therefore, Nameless Playgroup will be closed until further notice.

If you’re interested in helping please reach out, if we can get enough interest we can look at holding another AGM but until then we unfortunately say goodbye to Nameless playgroup.

We are holding an official AGM discussing all things Nameless Playgroup Friday the 25th of July @ 9:30am at the Mean Bean Cafe. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend including your little people 🌸

We want our playgroup to thrive and to make this happen we want some new faces to join us. We want Nameless Playgroup to be about building community, connections, a safe space for families to come together and of course endless fun for our children. We feel this is important, especially in our beautiful but very remote little town.

At present we don’t have a committee, just a couple of mums trying to keep the doors open. To keep our playgroup running we need your help to form a committee otherwise Nameless Playgroup will be closed until further notice.

All positions are declared vacant.

Committee positions may sound daunting but more hands make light work 👏🏼

If you are interested in helping out but can’t attend please message our page or myself (Indyana Roberts) directly. Otherwise, we look forward to seeing you down at the Mean Bean Cafe @ 9:30am on the 25th of July.
