Community Development Officer – Middlemount
Part-time | Fixed-term / Ongoing (subject to funding)

CTM LINKS is seeking a motivated and community-minded Community Development Officer to support community connection, wellbeing, and engagement in Middlemount.
This role works closely with local residents, community groups, service providers, and partners to deliver activities, events, and initiatives that strengthen community capacity and social connection.

About the Role
The Community Development Officer will:
• support and facilitate community events and activities
• build and maintain local partnerships and referral pathways
• engage with residents, groups, and stakeholders
• assist with planning and delivery of community-based initiatives
• maintain accurate records, reports, and evidence in line with governance and funding requirements
• work within CTM LINKS policies, procedures, and HSQF standards

About You
We are looking for someone who:
• has experience in community development, social services, youth work, or a related field
• has strong communication and relationship-building skills
• can work independently and as part of a small team
• understands professional boundaries, governance, and accountability
• is organised and comfortable with documentation and reporting
• holds (or is willing to obtain) Working with Children Card [Blue Card]
Local knowledge of the Middlemount community is highly regarded.
