๐ŸŒŸ Mark your calendars, Queensland! ๐ŸŒŸ

Did you know that National Volunteer Week is just one month away? ๐ŸŽ‰

Running from 18 May to 24 May, it's a whole week dedicated to celebrating the incredible volunteers who make our communities brighter, stronger and kinder. ๐Ÿงก

This year's theme is, 'Your Year to Volunteer', honouring the invaluable contributions of volunteers and inviting people across Australia to make 2026 a year of meaningful involvement, in ways that work for them. ๐Ÿ’ช ๐Ÿงก

For our amazing 5000-strong SES volunteer family, this theme is a perfect reminder of the difference they make every day. Whether it's responding to severe weather events, supporting communities in times of need or lending a hand to keep Queenslanders safe, they are at the heart of creating positive change. ๐ŸŒŸ

Their dedication and kindness truly make a world of difference. Thank you for everything they do! ๐Ÿ™

Let's get ready to say a BIG thank you to all the incredible volunteers out there! ๐Ÿ™Œ Want to get involved or learn more? Head to Volunteering Australia's website for all the details.
