This National Volunteer Week, we want to say thank you to the people in our group who make Scouting possible.

Behind every campfire, muddy hike, late-night pack up, adventurous activity, badge presentation, and chaotic game night is a volunteer giving their time so young people can grow, learn, and experience things they’ll remember for life.

Our leaders and parent helpers are more than just organisers. They’re mentors, listeners, chauffeurs, first-aid experts, problem-solvers, rope untanglers, confidence-builders, and occasionally professional snack distributors.

They give up weekends, evenings, and holidays not because they have to, but because they believe in creating opportunities for young people to challenge themselves, build resilience, and find where they belong.

To every volunteer in our Group, thank you.
For the countless unseen hours.
