OCTOBER 11th 2025

We had some damage caused in the bushland in recent months, so when council cleared all the mess away we planted many native grasses and trees to rejuvenate and give the bush a breath of fresh air πŸ₯°

Thank you to Carys, Grant, Brendan and Lisa 🌱

SEPTEMBER 13th 2025

The Billy Goat w**d looks very pretty with its blue flower but it has taken over parts of our bushland.

The Billy Goat w**d has the ability to displace indigenous plants so today’s working bee was to get as many out as we could!

Thank you to Marg, Brendan, Judy and Lisa 🌱

AUGUST 23rd 2025

What a great day for bushcare!

After a later start in the month than anticipated, we had a productive morning by filling up several bags of Blue Billy Goat, Asparagus Fern and Ochna.

We also saw a Keelback Snake and a Lewins Honeyeater.

Big thank you to:-

AUGUST 9th 2025

We couldn’t go ahead with bushcare this weekend as it was still very wet.

So on my recce I took some photos and videos of our beautiful area - we are so lucky to have this on our doorstep and even happier with the growth in our Richmond Birdwing Vines πŸ¦‹

We only had a small army of volunteers, a big thank you to πŸ‘πŸ» Lenore πŸ‘πŸ» Will πŸ‘πŸ» Brendan πŸ‘πŸ»

We tied up 5 Birdwing vines that are growing so well and then the w**ds were attacked - Dyschoriste, Corky Passion vine and some Ochna. All w**ds were bagged and removed from the bush.

(No photos today 😊)

MARCH 1st 2025

First meet of 2025, and it was a busy one after the summer rains and winds!

Lots of trees and branches down, and our path had been flooded out!

DECEMBER 3rd 2024

We didn’t get to have a working bee in December due to the extremely wet weather and the small water hole over flowing!
What did happen though is that it over flowed to the point where all the Salvinia was removed from the water πŸ™ŒπŸ»
Some video footage of the wonder birds we have in our area including the scared kingfisher.
