What a night at Hotel Theodore for State of Origin Game II 🏉

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported the Theodore State School P&C State of Origin Calcutta. It was a fantastic night of community spirit, fundraising, and footy!

Our Calcutta prize pool for game II reached an incredible $4,855!

🏆 First Try Scorer: Nev – $1,942
🏆 Second Try Scorer: Frenchy – $971
🎓 Theodore State School P&C: $1,942 raised for our students.

🎟️ Our $50 pub voucher raffle raised an additional $273 for the P&C, with Nita taking home the prize. Congratulations, Nita!

A big thank you to Lisa and her team at Hotel Theodore for doing an amazing job behind the bar and in the kitchen, keeping everyone fed and refreshed throughout the evening.

Thank you to Alyce and Nita for all your help on the night, keeping things running smoothly and lending a hand wherever it was needed.

A very special thank you to Brad Hanson our incredible auctioneer, who once again generously volunteered his time and talents. Year after year, game after game, Brad helps make our Calcutta such a success, and we are incredibly lucky to have his ongoing support.

Most importantly, thank you to our wonderful Theodore community and travellers passing through town for supporting the Theodore State School P&C and the amazing students of Theodore State School.

And what a game! Queensland stormed home with a 44–24 victory over New South Wales. 💙❤️

Thank you to everyone who came along last night to watch Game 1 of the State of Origin and support the Theodore State School P&C’s annual calcutta!

Thanks to your generosity, a total of $4,010 was raised, with $1,604 going directly to the Theodore State School P&C.

Congratulations to Clayton, who won the 1st Try Scorer prize pool of $1,604, and Nate, who took home $802 for buying the 2nd try scorer.

A big thank you to Lisa and the Hotel Theodore team for their support, and to Brad Hanson, for auctioning off the Maroons and Blues players again this year.

We appreciate everyone’s participation and hope to see you back for Game 2 - Bring it on!
