⚠️ There are reports of minor flooding at several locations across Central Coast roads tonight.

Periods of rain are expected to continue through to the weekend, with the potential for flash flooding in some areas. Conditions may change quickly, and some roads could become impacted with little notice.

If you need to head out, please drive to the conditions, slow down and take extra care on the roads over the coming days. Give yourself extra travel time in case you need to take a safer, but longer route. And remember, if it's flooded, forget it.

Stay safe, Central Coast. 💙

UPDATE 7.40am: Burns Rd has been closed.

UPDATE 6.30am Thursday: Good morning Coasties. Gosford recorded approx 70mm of rain between 8.30 and 1am overnight, however it appears to have eased at that point. At this stage we have no reports of any major road flooding, however please continue to exercise caution on the roads this morning. Keep those headlights on so other can see you.
