Did you know it takes more than 100 volunteers help make show day happen each year?
Selling tickets, pouring drinks, serving food, directing traffic, stewarding competitions and doing all the jobs behind the scenes that most people never see.

We also couldn't do it without the support of our local community groups who generously lend us their time and volunteers. So, on Friday, we took the opportunity to say thank you with donations to:

🩵 The Caves and District Lions Club
🩵 Mount Archer Scout Group
🩵 The Caves State School P&C Association
🩵 Milman State School P&C Association

To everyone who has volunteered, flipped a burger, parked a car, sold a ticket, picked up rubbish or helped in any way – thank you. We literally couldn't do it without you.
If you're looking for a way to give back to your community (and make some great friends along the way), we'd love to see you join The Caves Progress and Agricultural Society or one of these fantastic local organisations.

This week we celebrated National Volunteer Week, and what better way to recognise the occasion than by celebrating with our amazing volunteers last night.

At our annual get together, we acknowledged the incredible contribution our volunteers make to our organisation and community. Without their ongoing support, dedication, and hard work, we simply wouldn’t be able to run The Caves Agricultural Show or keep our grounds open and available for the community to enjoy.

This year’s National Volunteer Week theme, “Your Year to Volunteer”, is a wonderful reminder of the difference volunteering makes within our community every day.

Thank you to each and every volunteer for the time, effort, and passion you give so generously. Our community is stronger because of you.

Yes… we know the show has just wrapped up… and the next one feels a long way off… but trust us — this is where the magic and the planning starts 😄

Such a beautiful day at The Caves Show yesterday! 🌞

Huge thank you to the organisers - it was such a well run event and everything flowed really smoothly. It was lovely meeting so many local families, everyone was so kind and welcoming 💕 I feel really grateful to be part of this community.

I ended up painting for 8 hours straight 😅 and only got one photo because it was super busy! If you have any photos from the day, I’d love to see them - feel free to tag Painted by El 🎨✨

What an incredible day at the Caves Agricultural Show 2026 yesterday! 🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made it so special. We truly appreciate all the support from our amazing volunteers, dedicated vendors, enthusiastic competitors, and wonderful spectators and visitors.

Your time, effort, and community spirit are what make this event such a success year after year. We’re so grateful to each and every one of you for helping create such a fantastic day.

We can’t wait to do it all again next year!
