Have you recently attended a Mulloon Institute field day, or are you interested in landscape rehydration?

We are offering practical, one-on-one rehydration learning for landholders who want to better understand how water moves through their landscape and what simple, low cost actions could work on their own property.

Support is delivered by Andrew Walsh, Senior Land Services Officer at the NSW Government's Northern Tablelands Local Land Services, who works with landholders across the Northern Tablelands on catchment rehydration and landscape function.

Support can include:
✅ one-on-one property visits
✅ practical discussion of rehydration principles on your paddocks and creeks
✅ guidance on where management changes or structures could work
✅ links to field days, training and demo sites.

Granite Borders Landcare will have a special section in this year’s Tenterfield Show Photography exhibition: the Australian Bushland Series.

The Special Section will host 3 categories:

Category 10 - Native Flora
Category 11 - Native Fauna (including birds, reptiles, insects and mammals)
Category 12 - Creative Bush Theme Landscape/ pastoral/ people and human creations in nature.

There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd places for each category with prize money. There will also be cash prizes for Highly Commended entries.

Entries are to be judged by the Tenterfield Show Society, as well as guest Judge, local photographic artist, Lara Flannagan. Winning entries will be used for a Granite Borders Landcare Calendar for 2027. So, you will need to be willing to make your entry available for that purpose.

Granite Borders Landcare are supporting the Tenterfield Show in 2026 with an Australian Bushland series photo competition.

This is your chance for artistic fame and fortune. There are three prizes in each of the three categories, as well as overall champion and highly commended. All winning entries will be placed in the Granite Borders Landcare Committee calendar for 2027, so please keep this in mind, as a condition of entry.
