A Call to Every Rotary Club with a Peace Pole
The countdown begins today.
In 100 days, the world will mark the International Day of Peace (21st. September 2026).
This year, we’re inviting every Rotary Club in District 9510 with a Peace Pole to step forward as leaders of peace in action.
Your Peace Pole is more than a symbol.
It’s a gathering place.
A promise.
A beacon of hope in your community.
The Call to Action
Between now and 21st.September 2026, we’re asking every club in District 9510 to:
✨ Create an event, activity, or gathering at your Peace Pole
✨ Invite your community, schools, councils, and partners
✨ Stand together for peace, visibly, locally, powerfully.
It can be simple or bold:
• A sunrise gathering
• A peace walk; ending at your Peace Pole
• A children’s art activity
• A multicultural reading of May Peace Prevail on Earth
• A moment of silence
• A full community ceremony.
What matters is that we show up, united, hopeful, and committed to peacebuilding in our own neighbourhoods.
Rotary’s call is clear:
Create hope. Build peace. Serve humanity.
Let’s make 21 September a day where every Peace Pole in our District, and across Australia, becomes a living monument to that mission.
If your club is in, comment below or share your plans so we can celebrate and amplify your leadership.
🕊️ 100 days. One message. Many communities. May Peace Prevail on Earth.
