A not-so-little presentation to Indy Wilesmith Racing #26 on Saturday from the Temora Ex-Services Club committee!

🏆 ROUND 2 CHAMPS!

Sunday’s Round 2 was a much better day, with only a short rain delay over lunch before racing got back underway. By the time the sun finally decided to make an appearance, we’d completed three full rounds and wrapped up a fantastic day of racing!

A huge thank you to everyone who came back for another crack after Saturday’s washout. After a frustrating start to the weekend, it was great to see everyone return with positive attitudes and a determination to make the most of Sunday’s racing.

Congrats and well done to all the local school kids and junior riders who took part in our colouring competition! 🎨

Seems like there are many great picasso’s out there, and we know it wasn’t an easy feat to pick just one from each age group!

But our 3 winners were;

Thank you to everyone who entered, turned up, pitched in and supported Round 1 TT today. We mean it. We appreciate it!

Unfortunately, today didn’t go to plan. The forecasted “slight spit” of rain turned into a whole lot more, and after spending several hours this morning working hard to dry the track and get racing underway, the weather ultimately got the better of us and racing was abandoned before the completion of the first round.

It was a frustrating day for us all. But despite the disappointment, what we witnessed this morning and throughout the day was bloody humbling. The willingness of so many people to grab a broom, a blower or simply lend a hand showed exactly why we love our little dirt track family.

Thank you for your patience, your understanding, and your efforts in helping us give the day every possible chance. The teamwork, positivity and support shown by the riders, officials and volunteers did not go unnoticed.

Tomorrow’s Round 2 will go ahead as planned, and we will reasses after the weekend about re-running Round 1 at a later date.
