Myall U3A Learning For Pleasure

"Those who learn shall teach and those who teach shall learn, and there shall be no distinction between the two"

U3A PURPOSE:
To provide affordable learning opportunities in a friendly and informal environment for mature age people who are no longer in fulltime employment. U3A COUSE TEACHERS/CONVENERS:
Course teachers/conveners are members of U3A who are willing and able to offer their skills and abilities and like to share of their expertise with those members who are interested in learning the skills on offer. All teaching roles are voluntary – teachers and course conveners are not paid for their services. MEMBERSHIP:
No qualifications are required for membership. In our courses/classes and workshops there are no expectations of previous knowledge, experience or expertise. No tests, assignments or proof of comprehension are required. There are no awards, degrees or diplomas. Everyone with an interest in learning is welcome! COST: The only cost to you is a membership fee, payable at the beginning of the year or at the time of your joining U3A (whichever comes first). The current membership fee is $45.00 and covers your attendance at any course/class/workshop you choose to attend. CLASSES: All classes/courses/workshops we offer are detailed in our Prospectus, which you can access by clicking here:

U3A ENVIRONMENT: We aim to create a safe, friendly, inclusive environment in which our members are able to enjoy the learning experience, make new friends of similar interests and are able to socialise in the context of learning, sharing and mutual support.
