Taroom Wandoan Battlers

Taroom Wandoan Battlers BATTLERS, currently playing the A grade competition in the RRLFC. The Taroom Wandoan Battlers Rugby League Club was originally formed in 1964.

The Battlers won an A grade premiership in the Western Downs competition in 1967, and in 1968 the team joined the Roma competition. The Taroom Wandoan Battlers will play a regular season as the Western Tingers reserve grade. The players are looking forward to pulling on the blue and white jerseys with pride and passion, with the opportunity to restore glory to the Battlers name.

The Taroom-Wandoan Battlers are proud to invite all past players, supporters, sponsors and friends of the club to our annual Old Boys & Sponsors Day!

Join us at Wandoan on Saturday 27 June as we celebrate the people who have helped build our great club over the years. Whether you pulled on the jersey, supported from the sidelines, sponsored the club, or simply have a connection to the Battlers, we’d love to see you there.

It’s a chance to catch up with old teammates, share a few stories, support the current squad and celebrate the proud history of the Battlers.

It’s a tough job finding volunteers- but it’s the reason we all get to enjoy sport on the weekend; so let’s all do our bit.

If you’re able to jump in, please let us know!

As the juniors will be playing we haven’t allocated an opening bar time. Our bar will open when there games are completed, if earlier than 2pm.
