The first stage of renovations this morning revealed a hidden treasure - a reminder of the long-standing tradition of incredible volunteers in our club.
18 years ago, PCYC Taree gymnastics was a family owned business and the Gymaroo Team was supported by a Not For Profit supporters club. We fundraised to replace the floor and a group of volunteers spent the entire weekend building and installing the floor. Each volunteer decorated and signed a board.
Within a few weeks it became apparent that the floor was faulty and the boards all had to be replaced - without decoration or signatures. However, somehow this one board must have escaped replacement!
What a beautiful reminder that our club has always been so supported by amazing volunteers and a place where the members are part of the entire club as part of the Gymnastics family.
I wonder what might be found in another 18 years …
Less exciting finds include the earring pictured below and LOTS of lost property including hats and uniforms from MVAC, St Clare’s, Tinonee, Taree Public and Manning Gardens. Please check the tub this week.

EXCITING NEWS!!! 🤩🤸🏻🎉

We are thrilled to announce that our Gymnastics space will be undergoing some major renovations next week! We will be getting our red sprung floor replaced, roof lights fixed, foam pit repaired and so much more!

From Monday 19th to Saturday 24th October, half of our Gym will be closed off. Some of our Gymnastics classes will be running in the Sports Hall to accommodate these temporary space changes. Please listen to coaches instructions before each class so your child knows where to be.

We appreciate everyone’s support and patience during this hectic week, and can’t wait to see our athletes and coaches using the new equipment in Week 3!
