URGENT - BUNGAY ROAD/ROSELLA DRIVE WINGHAM RESIDENTS.
This morning we have brought in a lactating female koala without her joey. She may have been separated from it in the past 24hrs. Please look in your trees, scrubs, etc in the above area. This may be a little back joey. She appears to be a first time mum. Joey will be frightened & in need of feeding. Please phone -

BAM BOO (KOLODONG) - UPDATE. He is doing well so far. He suffered punctures to his lumbar spine when a dog attacked him & is still quite sore. He needs to be monitored for any changes in case of internal damage. People think if they can't see blood then everything is ok but that is just not true. It's what you can't see that is the concern.

FOR ALL THE KEYBOARD WARRIORS - DAISYMAE was playing while I cleaned her pen. She has the appropriate climbing branches, etc to sit & climb. I have 33yrs of rearing koala joeys & I think I know how to do it since I've successfully reared hundreds of orphaned joeys. DON'T SPOIL IT FOR THOSE WHO HAVE FOLLOWED DAISYMAE SINCE COMING INTO CARE. When you have the experience I have then you can have an opinion. It's hard enough without the social media onslaught.
