Day 2, August overnight ride.
Today did not look real good after the heavy rain overnight, however we had breakfast at the Coolah bakery ( the young barmaid who served us at the Coolah Valley hotel last night greeted us at the bakery this morning) the clouds cleared for us with the occasional sunshine
We headed to Merriwa and over the mountain range to Willow Tree for morning tea, then heading to Nundle (no rain at this stage)
Until we hit Port Stephens cutting (then a few showers) the temperature dropped to 11 degrees and onto Nowendoc for lunch.
We had a very spirited ride to Gloucester.
1001 kilometres up for the two days
Great ride with good people.
Look out for Septembers overnight ride, posting shortly

🏍️ Are you a Joe Rider?
If you own and ride a motorcycle in the MidCoast, we’d love to hear from you!

👉 Joe Rider is a motorcycle awareness campaign that encourages drivers to look out for motorcycles to reduce the number of SMIDSY (sorry mate I didn’t see you) collisions.

🤩 During October, local volunteers will wear bright yellow Joe Rider vests while riding in our region. You can ride alone, with a mate, or as a group.
When motorists see a Joe Rider, they report the sighting and go in the prize draw.

Hi All
Todays ride had 7 starters.
300kms all round for me and a bit further for some others.
Morning tea was at Craves in Bonny Hills then on to Freddo Pub for lunch
Rain threatened but we got away with not getting wet.
Once again great riding, food and company.
Cheers
Rde Leader Glenn.
