Taree RSL Sub Branch The Taree RSL Sub-Branch offers commemoration, welfare and support in the Spirit of the ANZAC in Taree.

Taree RSL Sub-Branch is a long established Sub-Branch operating in Taree NSW. Our Sub-Branch is the local presence of the Returned and Services League, Australia's largest Veterans organisation. We commemorate the service - past and present - of Australia's defence forces and we work hard to promote the spirit of ANZAC in our local area.

It is with deep regret that we advise the passing of Graham Charles Gibson OAM. His funeral service will be held at 11am on Thursday 14th May 2026 at the Manning Great Lakes Memorial Gardens. All sub-Branch members and ex service personnel are requested to attend. Medals to be worn. He will sadly missed.

At the Annual General Meeting of the Sub-branch, members unnamiouly re-elctd Darcy Elbourne as their President for the next three years.
The meetings also received a very healthy balance sheet and audit report
on the last year's finance management.
The sub-branch starts this new term with all executive and committee positions filled.
The Taree Sub Branch is now in its 108th year supporting the Veteran's of our community.

72nd Anniversary Korea Veteran's Day was conducted by the sub-branch at our memorial at Club Taree on 27th July 2025. Special guest speaker Ms Alison Penfold MP , Federal Member for Lyne, spoke on her experiences in South Korea and the courageous battles our Australian soldiers were involved in during the war. Members of the Cheil Church again attended and, in a special act of generosity, presented members of the Taree on Manning Rotary- Flood Appeal, a cheque towards supporting these of our area devastated by the recent flood disaster.
We will remember them.
