I have lodged an application to speak at the next MCC public forum meeting 10am on the 10th December at the tin shed.It is about the Council wanting to bring in a set of code of meeting practices item no 20.11.The changes would mean hugely reduced numbers of questions to the Council about anything,less accountability and transparency and another way of censoring any information about where our rates are going and what they are being spent on! With our rates constantly rising hugely we need to be able to hold them accountable! If anyone else wants to come along and speak up on the subject please fill in the form on the MCC website before midday Tuesday,or please come along and show your support and let them know that we are closely watching them!
