Huge thank you to everyone who came along to auditions for WOMAN 2026 tonight.

Honestly, the talent in our region is ridiculous. From powerhouse vocals to beautiful storytelling and completely unexpected moments, we were blown away by the courage, creativity and talent that walked through the doors tonight.

It takes guts to get up and audition, and every single person who did should be incredibly proud of themselves ❤️

But more than that. Nights like tonight remind us why we do this. To sit in a room and witness all the passionate, talented people and start imagining what this show could become was genuinely inspiring.

Central West… you’ve got stars ✨

We cannot wait to start putting together what is shaping up to be quite a spectacular show 🥰

Star for a Night is a glorious tribute show where ordinary locals transform into music legends, pop icons and entertainment royalty for one unforgettable night.

This is NOT a serious talent competition. This is your chance to unleash your inner superstar - whether that’s Elvis, Cher, ABBA, Dolly, Freddie Mercury, Tina Turner, Kylie, Meat Loaf or a deeply questionable interpretation of Mick Jagger.

We want big performances, dramatic entrances, outrageous costumes, iconic dance moves and crowd-winning entertainment. Live vocals? Amazing. Lip syncing with total commitment? Also amazing. The golden rule is simple: commit to the bit.

So gather your backup dancers, raid the op shop, crank up the hairspray and prepare to battle it out for the prestigious and highly unofficial title of Star for a Night Champion 🏆✨ with cash prizes to be won.
