URGENT CALL OUT FOR VOLUNTEERS TO HELP KEEP LLs OPERATIONAL!!!!
Finding help is really reaching crisis point, there are SO MANY behind the scenes roles that come togerther to run a rescue and all of these roles are increasingly falling on the same few people.
It takes a ton of work, hours and people to run a successful rescue, it takes TEAM WORK to avoid burnout of individuals and to ensure quick response, quick intake and adoption, fast response in emergencies and just smooth sailing across all the many layers that make up rescue.
We honestly cannot continue if we don’t all come together and build a proactive team who can help ease the burden, and at this stage we are facing best case, a huge scale down on what this rescue can continue to operate as and even worst case, winding down to eventual closure.
Little Legs has been a highly valued and respected, successful rescue since 2012, some of us have been here, filling many roles that entire time, others come and go, we desperately need some more team members to save this rescue.
URGENTLY require help with some of our administration roles, we can supply the training and on going support…
Foster Coordinator - Person responsible for the registration of new foster carers, involves being first receiver of new foster applications, arranging a volunteer to perform home checks and adding new approved carers to the forum.
Website Coordinator - Person/s who are able to do all updating of website items, specifically adding or removing Animal Profiles.
Adult Cat Coordinator/s - Person/s able to fll the roles of Cat Coordinator 1 ( person responsible for getting new intakes into a suitable foster home, coordinating the initial time in care process; arranging vet work etc to get the cats adoption ready. Person/s able to fill the Cat Coordinator 2 role ( taking over from Cat Coordinator 1 for Cats who are Adoption Ready; doing cat adoption profiles up, promoting adoptable cats, seeing them and their carers through to being adopted.
Fundraising Team Members - We absolutely desperately need to build our fundraising team! We need ideas, people who can run events, adoption days, anything at all that can help with raising funds and promoting rescue animals.
Pledge Creator and Management - Person/s able to be tasked with composing and maintaining pledges required for Special Animal Surgeries.
